Fair and Balanced
With the world seemingly falling apart at the seams this week, leave it to FOX News to really put things in perspective and show how completely out of the loop they are.
There has been a resurgence of school shootings, including a crazy guy shooting Amish schoolgirls, and for a short while, the crazy Westboro Baptists were going to protest at the funerals. There's a toxic cloud coming from a burning chemical plant, a historical church burnt to the ground, and AAA promoter Antonio Pena just up and dies.
The Republicans are scrambling to find excuses for their homosexual comrade Foley after he got caught with his figurative pants down. They've tried to blame as much as possible, even the problems in Iraq, on the Democratic party, and more specifically, the Clinton administration.
So, Friday morning, with all this news to be reported, FOX News feels it is their duty to report that there was a model the other day that went down the catwalk who was *gasp* a size 20! They pretended to approach it as "Are the people running the fashion show proud of her or ridiculing her?" The irony was that everyone associated with the fashion show seemed to have been completely supportive, but the FOX News anchor lady had a disgusted attitude. The FOX News anchor lady (I have no clue who it was... some blonde... but not that freaky Gretta chick) went as far as incredulously saying: "That's like a good sized linebacker!" She didn't think that was slightly insulting? I mean, I wouldn't describe her scrawny ass as "just over two sacks of horse s***," especially if I was doing a story asking if she should be ridiculed for her size.
